Christmas is right around the corner, for me at least. Some of you may celebrate this time differently, different occasions, different meanings, but that doesn't matter for this topic. Recently, in the midst of the Christmas spirit I've been surrounded with, I finally have started enjoying giving.
Each year I would always have a few people I would be getting presents for, at that was always so much fun. Finding cool things that matched my friends' personality and wrapping them all up with bows and gift wrap put a smile on their face. Now that I am making money with working limited hours, I have the ability to give back to the community and more people in my life.
A few shopping trips to the obvious stores, Target, Kohl's, etc. have been made, with many more online shopping experiences left. I realize Christmas it literally in 6 days...but I have been busy, so I really need to wrap up my Christmas shopping. No pun intended.
Basically what I'm trying to say is this year I've really enjoyed being able to buy nice presents for people and being able to give back some money and thoughts to others. Now it's not always about the presents, of course it's the thought, but giving gifts make me happy, and also make others happy so it's a total win/win situation.
I love the holiday season around Christmas. For the most part joy is being spread, and it's the season of giving. Ah I love it so much.
