Vlogmas!!!

Now to preface this post...if you do not know what Vlogmas is...I will tell you now. :)

Vlogmas: the unofficial term for YouTuber's that vlog every day in December up until Christmas and typically follow up the Vlogmas month with a "What I Got For Christmas" video.

Vlog: the unofficial YouTube term for video blogging.

This year I decided that maybe I should try Vlogmas. Last year when I started my channel it was already after Christmas since my first video was a "What I Got For Christmas" video. Also, I was in no way ready to try and upload 24 videos, with one each night. This year I am still not ready to fully undertake the 24 days with school just getting out for break today, and also starting a new job.

So far I have 6 vlogs up for Vlogmas, and I am working on more to upload as Christmas get nearer. (Day 7 should be up within the next few days.)

If you are interested in watching any of them I'll have the ones I've done already linked at this end of this post so it's easy access for you. :)

My month of December is basically school until today, the 19th, and then it's the busy Christmas week and then Christmas, then New Years, etc. I'm not sure if I'll keep going up to New Years so I have a few more vlogs or what. I'm not sure. We'll see how this goes. It's a learning experience. I hope you will enjoy the work I put into these, because it does take a bit of time to just even do a simple edit vlog video.

I WILL be doing another "What I Got For Christmas 2014" video this year because it was my first video last year. It may sound kinda stupid but I may want to make that tradition, since that was the start to my channel and where I have gotten today, which is 41 subscribers and over 4,000 views, and 126 videos. That's not a lot compared to a lot of people out there who YouTube as well but to me it's pretty awesome. Love you all!

I've Been Gone...

Hey guys, it's been too long...

My last post was on August 15, 2014, which was way too long ago.

School caught up with me, homework grew in amount, activities started, and the process of getting a job have all made it hard to keep up posting on my blog and YouTube channel.

I'm so sorry I haven't been on here much. I meant to post this a lot sooner but it just never happened. I hope to be more frequent on here after this.

My YouTube channel has grown in views, videos, and subscribers. I'm so happy with the progress that has been going on and I hope you all continue to support me there.

I just wanted to make this little post to notify you that I haven't died and I'm still here. :)

Sorry it's been long...

This is short so enjoy some photos...

Five Favorite Photos Friday

I actually just got back from Seattle a couple of days ago, so I decided to share some photos I took while there with you. So here you go!

This picture I took while we stood in the freezing air of the Pacific Ocean.
(Canon ELPH 110 HS)

This photo I took while hanging out in my sister's house. The computer sorta ruins it but...oh well.
(Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took along one of the Seattle piers as we walked down the road.
(Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This, of course, is the Space Needle, and our family decided to go up it and see the sights.

This photo I took on the ferry while going from Seattle to another neighboring city. It's my sister by the way.

Five Favorite Photos Friday

Hey! Back again for another "Five Favorite Photos Friday." You may notice while looking through some of these photos that I am starting to brand my stuff. I just put a little thing in the bottom right corner of pictures I edit just so people know who did it. Today...well let's just get to the pictures.

This photo I just took recently on the way back from the camp I go to every year. (Canon ELPH 110 HS)

This photo I took while relaxing at a lake near my house. I brought the "essentials" for a day of relaxing. (Canon ELPH 110 HS)

This photo I took while walking with my mom and grandma and actually I entered it into a calendar contest and I will hear back in November. (Canon ELPH 110 HS)

This one I took while with my mom, grandma, and my grandma's two friends getting ice cream in my home town. I absolutely love this picture. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took while in Peoria, and this photo has already been on this blog in one of my posts about my trip. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

Thanks for reading this and scrolling through the pictures! Next Friday there won't be a five favorite photos but there will be a post about what I'm doing in Seattle!

Fellowship Games Camp

I just got back from camp yesterday and I had an amazing time so today I wanted to share some memories and pictures with you because I had so much fun. This year was my favorite because I met so many new people and I also strengthened friendships with people from past years of camp.

This was my huddle, huddle 11, also called the Acrobatic Twix.
(Left to right: Kaitlin, Natalie, Martina, Zach, Me, Katie, Ben)

Natalie found a rope so after that we all walked with it to our games so none of us would get "lost." It was sure a sight and it was funny but very unique.

This is what I get for leaving my camera with my huddle...I have lots of weird selfies.

This is the day Martina and I were twinning.

We had a little impromptu water fight before dinner.

I have 11 memories to share with you now. I wrote them out and posted them on Facebook but I'll share then here also.

1. Martina and Ben smacking into each other during Capture the Flag right after two other people did the same thing. (All in under a minute.)

2. When my huddle lost a game, it was usually only by 1 point.

3. Natalie, a camper in my huddle, found a rope and we walked to games with it so no one would get lost. (See picture above.)

4. Having Martina pray for me on prayer night was amazing.

5. Wearing my I <3 NY one day and Martina running back to her cabin to change because she had the same shirt. (See picture above.)

6. When Isaac, Danny, and Seth were dancing on stage at random times throughout the week.

7. Getting dressed in a tiny, thin cloth dress thingy and parading around the camp as a soldier with baby oil and bug spray on.

8. Seeing Cassi's shirt that said My Lighthouse on it and loved it so much I asked her where she got it.

9. All of our late night conversations with my cabin mates, and accents and flashlight puppets courtesy of Aaron.

10. When Jesus came back off the cross; that will get you every year, let me tell you.

11. "Hee hee huh." Aaron and Ben know this one.

Finallly, PAAANNNNCCCHHOOO! (Pancho was this amazing camper who got blamed [in a funny way] for lots of stuff and we'd all yell his name.

"Can I get a Hoy Ya?"

"HOY YA!"

Five Favorite Photos Friday

And we're live with another "Five Favorite Photos Friday!" Okay...so we're not live...but I still have five cool photos for you guys. So these photos today are a bit more "personal" and they're not pictures of nature. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these!

This photo I took at a local museum. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took at my mom's works fundraiser. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took while just sitting on the couch with my mom and she was trying to "hide" from me. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I actually took in my bathroom...matter of fact...and I put my camera on a certain setting so that the shutter would stay open and I ran some little lights I had past the camera. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took of me being a "twin" with a app I had. Yes, both people in this picture is me. Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. Hah. Yep. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

Five Favorite Photos Friday

Hey guys! I have been very non-existent on this blog...so sorry about that...I've been very busy recently. I've been editing a short film that me and some friends worked on that took me a very long time, and I've been planning future YouTube videos and a new project for next June. If you want a bit more of an explanation, click on the link right after this word...go. (It will be up in a couple days and I will replace this with a link.) Also I have sort of a summer assignment to work on. Yes it doesn't seem like a lot, but there's other little things going on as well. Basically I haven't had time to sit down and write posts.

Well I don't want to make this an update post, so let's get to the photos!!!

This photo I took at a pumpkin patch over by my grandma's house. This goat was walking all around these little high rise planks and totally modeling for me. (Canon ELPH 110 HS)

This photo was taken at night (obviously) while I was walking back from a walk with my mom. I used a night shot thing on my camera and snapped a picture. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took when I woke up one morning to some condensation on my window. Yeah...that's about it. Nothing amazing...just simple. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I LOVE! I indeed did take this myself. One winter day I went outside to the golf course by my house, and I put my camera on a small tripod, stuck it in the stiff snow, and ran out to a random spot while the camera was set on 10 seconds. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

This photo I took while walking back to my house from my mailbox. There was a ton of branches in front of these berries, so I just zoomed in really far because it looked cool that way. (Samsung Galaxy Camera)

Illinois "Trip" Day 4

Wow!!! The last day of my mini vacation has come! Of course we slept in; I mean it's vacation... Same routine as the past 3 days; woke up, ate breakfast, and left the hotel around 10. We were checked out and ready to go home.

My mom wanted to be home by 6:30 p.m. or soon after, so we needed to leave by 1:30 p.m. That left us about 3 hours to hangout with the family for the rest of the time we were there.

We ran to Kroger's just to look at the healthy aisle (by my mom's request) and found a pop that is the same as my nickname that my mom calls me.

She calls me Izzie. (Eye-zee.)

We drove around to pass some time, and looked at some really huge, expensive houses just to admire them and say what we liked about them. A GREAT way to pass time huh? Hear the sarcasm? What wasn't so fun is I was stuck in the backseat with my 10 year old cousin, and the back isn't very big. I had to turn sideways just so my knees would't hit the seat in front of me. There was 7 of us in a small SUV, and that was pretty uncomfortable. :)

After "house judging," we decided to go out to eat one last time for lunch before my mom and I headed back. We ate out quite a bit because it would have been too hard to get food and prepare it for 7 people with 2 young kids who get impatient. (I am not one of the 2, I can control myself.) I seriously do not want to go out anywhere else for a LONG TIME! My family normally goes out only on special occasions, just because it can be unhealthy and adds up, so we normally eat in and eat healthy. So not I am like just sick of restaurant food. UCK!

Avanti's!

Anyways, after lunch we ran back to the hotel to get some ice for the cooler, said some quick goodbyes, and hopped in our car. My mom and I had a 5 hour drive ahead of us. My uncle, aunt, and their 2 daughters were leaving the next day, and they had an 8 hour drive so I guess I can't complain too much. My mom drove for about 3 hours and I picked up the other 2 so she could sleep. It was a long 2 hours and I was sooo happy when we pulled into our driveway.

The sky on the way home.

So many clouds!!!

Overall, my time there was awesome and I enjoyed it greatly, but I love being home, like all the time, I just find being at home so comforting and relaxing. Well, I better go, I hope you enjoyed these blog posts, and the link to the corresponding vlog will be added as they are posted on YouTube. Check out the blog post for Day 1 tomorrow (July 7th) because the first vlog will be going up.

Illinois "Trip" Day 3

Day 3, the last night here. It was a chill day, but it was still a fun day

We met up in the morning and went to this train/car/history museum, and it was really interesting and cool. There were a ton of old cars and old train related things. There were also old furniture items and little old nick-nack things. My favorite thing was a section with vintage cameras. I seriously want either a real or fake old camera for decoration; they're just sooo cool!!!

Mom and Bree having some tea!

Old train!!!

After touring the whole 4 buildings of the museum, we headed out for lunch at a really amazing place called the 50s Diner. It was a diner...that looked like the 50s. Checkered floors, milkshakes, barstools, and Marilyn Monroe made up most of the restaurant.

Mom being a wacko.

Chicken sandwhich!!!

We then we back to my grandpa's house for a while and we were just kinda lazy since it was raining outside

Closer to dinnertime we went to a pizzeria, but I couldn't each much, I was still full from lunch.

We had some time between then and "bedtime" so we rented the movie Jack Ryan from the Redbox. It was a pretty good movie honestly.

Now I'm in bed like the end of every night, and tomorrow will conclude the series! See ya tomorrow!
